Exercise #8 part 1

I graduated from a Canadian school and i have already used these dimensions to make sure that i cooperate with other people from around the world, such as understanding that westerners have a low context culture and i understood that they always get to the point and action is taken appropriately. Also making sure that even as an Emirati, i have to treat all my classmates equally and understand that there is no high power distance between us therefore accepting their culture and understand that most of them come from an individualist society.

In school, if students wanted something to change therefore we would socially orientate by having a student council and we would all gather and share ideas and thoughts therefore we would come up with a change and uncertainty tolerating into achieving what we want as a collective society.

In weddings, some Emirati families try to mix the genders to be more civilized and globalized but most families like to stick to tradition due to religious beliefs or maybe because its less of a hassle to change.

my name is hussian almansoori and my vido was talking about sword and spear and how they used it and when they used it. before they need food to eat and they have to hunting by spear and sword, and the important thing to use it for protcet them selfs. Also the old people were said if the tribe have more weapon they will be more strong and no body will can attack them, 

all my group discuss and give an examples of our traditional but i and my role was to show the student about hunting in uae in specific way because in the past our grandparents most of them were working in the sea . Sea is the main sources in the past to get a money and live well but they have to leave their family for a period of time when they went for a journey and their wife take care of the kids and the house so they handle a big responsibility . Moreover, they were using a specific tools for hunting such as net and hooks . This just one example from our emirate's traditional and i am very proud of it because our grand fathers were doing their best to provide to us a good living and life.

                                                                      Racism

Racism can explained as when actions, practices that are based when seen divides the human species into races which share the same ethinicty culture. Or when one culturally similar group thinks or be superior to others and treat them low by discriminating them. Racism can also occur when a group is treated in a preferential way that would favour them or when a group is denied of services or things making them be treated un equally. In 1996 UNESCO described racism as

 “… any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin that has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.(Part 1 of Article 1 of the U.N. International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination)^[55]”

In 2001 the european union banned racism. Racism has mainly led to many violences around the world causing people to kill and harass each other. It was started with the man slavery where a particular cast made a lower cast to be his slave and obey his orders and live accordingly without giving his freedom. The mainv racial discrimination found around the world was between the blacks and the white where the blacks were treated very low everywhere around.

Various measures and preventive rally, seminars have been taking place around the world in stopping racial discrimination and promoting peace and equal treatment of everyone regardless the race, culture or ethnicity. Even in main sport activities everywhere they take or find a place to let the world say No to Racism and to treat every human equal.
